一般描述:胸苷又称为嘧啶脱氧核苷。脱氧胸苷是DNA中存在的核苷。在DNA双链结构中，胸苷与脱氧腺苷配对。
应用:胸苷可用在HT和HAT混合物中，用于杂交瘤融合、筛选和克隆。它已用于:
- 用作基础培养基中的核苷酸来源，以评估iSCNT分化胚泡的生长
- 作为杜氏改良Eagle培养基(DMEM)选择培养基的补充成分，用于制备抗神经素(NRGN)抗体
- 用于制备THMG(胸腺嘧啶、次黄嘌呤、甘氨酸、甲氨蝶呤)和THG储备液，清洁小鼠淋巴瘤细胞
包装:1g、5g、10g、25g in poly bottle
生化/生理作用:胸苷可用于S期细胞同步。在嘧啶的补救合成途径中，嘧啶磷酸化酶将胸腺嘧啶可逆转化为胸苷。

This product is soluble in water (50 mg/mL), yielding a clear, colorless solution with heating. For aqueous concentrations higher than 50 mg/mL, solubility can be enhanced with the addition of a small amount of NaOH solution. Add the base drop wise with slow stirring. Thymidine is also soluble in methanol, hot alcohol, hot ace_tone, hot ethyl acetate, pyridine, glacial acetic acid, and is sparingly soluble in hot chloroform.
