背景介绍
CD3 epsilon(CD3ε) and CD3 gamma (CD3γ) are transmembrane subunits of the CD3 complex, which is essential for the assembly and surface expression of the T cell receptor (TCR). All of the CD3 subunits carry the so-called immunoreceptor tyrosine-based activation motif (ITAM) in the intracytoplasmic region. The signals are initiated by the specific phosphorylation of two tyrosine residues located in the conserved ITAM (PMID: 21269565).
