Anti-NFkB p65 subunit Recombin

The NF-κB p65 subunit, also known as RelA, is one of the key components of the NF-κB (nuclear factor kappa-light-chain-enhancer of activated B cells) transcription factor complex. It plays a central role in regulating immune responses, inflammation, cell survival, and proliferation. Under normal conditions, NF-κB is kept inactive in the cytoplasm by inhibitory proteins (IκBs). Upon activation by various stimuli such as cytokines, stress signals, or pathogens, IκBs are degraded, allowing p65 to translocate to the nucleus and bind to specific DNA sequences, initiating the expression of target genes involved in inflammation and immune responses. NF-κB p65 is implicated in a wide range of diseases, including cancer, autoimmune disorders, and chronic inflammatory diseases, making it a key target for therapeutic intervention.
