DNA-Free Pfu 2×SuperMix contains DNA-Free Pfu DNA polymerase, dNTPs, and an optimized reaction buffer at a 2× concentration. For DNA amplification, simply add the template, primers, and water to adjust the 2× SuperMix solution to a 1× concentration to proceed with the reaction. The amplification products have blunt ends without an "A" base at the 3' end, making them unsuitable for TA cloning. Pfu 2× SuperMix amplification products can be directly used for gene cloning. DNA-Free Pfu 2× SuperMix (dye) contains electrophoresis dye, allowing amplification products to be directly loaded for electrophoresis. If used for cloning, the dye needs to be purified away.
