DNA-Free Bsu DNA polymerase (Large Fragment) is the large fragment of Bsu DNA polymerase, retaining the 5´→3´ polymerase activity of Bacillus subtilis DNA polymerase A but lacking the 5´→3´ exonuclease domain. This large fragment also lacks 3´→5´ exonuclease activity. Due to the absence of 5´→3´ exonuclease activity, this enzyme exhibits strong strand displacement synthesis activity.
