Pyrethrum extract is an extract of pyrethrum flowers in petroleum oil with a definite pyrethrin content.[1] It instantly brings about a knock down action in insects, thereby acting as an effective insecticide.[2]
应用
Pyrethrum extract may be used to obtain natural pyrethrins, separated using high resolution gas chromatographic analysis(HRGC)[3], which can serve as active ingredients in insecticidal formulations for indoor use[3], agricultural and also in industrial pest management.[4]
