Source: Mycoplasma pneumoniae Culture Strain: FH, NCTC #10119
Format: Partially Purified, Liquid
Purification: Harvested organisms are washed and processed in a two step detergent extraction process. Antigen consists of a lysate or organisms enriched for P1 adhesion protein.
Concentration: 0.59 mg/mL (Bradford assay using BSA standard).
Buffer: Phosphate Buffer containing 2% n-Octylglucopyranoside.
Preservative: None
Applications: Specific methodologies have not been tested using this product.
Storage: Store at -20°C to -80°C. Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
Inactivation: Detergent treatment. Confirmation by attempted growth under original culture conditions.
