β甘油磷酸是一种经典的激酶反应缓冲液中使用的丝氨酸-苏氨酸磷酸酶抑制剂。
BGP经常组合使用与其他磷酸酶/蛋白酶抑制剂进行广谱抑制。
它起着有机物的作用磷酸盐供体,并已用于间充质干细胞分化为成骨细胞型细胞。
BGP也用于缓冲M17培养基,用于重组乳球菌培养蛋白质表达

Muscle inositol-1-phosphatase substrate from bovine brain.
β Glycerophosphate is a classic serine threonine phosphatase inhibitor used in kinase reaction buffer.
BGP is often used in combination with other phosphatase/protease inhibitors for broad-spectrum inhibition.
It acts as an organic phosphate donor and has been used to differentiate mesenchymal stem cells into osteoblastic cells.
BGP is also used to buffer M17 medium for protein expression in recombinant lactococcus culture
