Description ：CD223, also known as LAG-3, is a 70 kD type I transmembrane glycoprotein that is involved inT-cell signaling. Similar to CD4, CD223 binds MHC class II, but with a higher affinity. CD223negatively regulates T-cell activation. It is expressed by activated T-cells and natural killer cells(NKs), as well as regulatory T-cells. It is transiently expressed on the surface of activated Tcells in acute conditions but high expression is maintained under tolerizing conditions. CD223deficiency results in reduced tumor growth. CD223 and PD-1 can act in synergy and reverseexhausted phenotypes, improve tumor rejection, and control viral load.

Recommended Usage ：Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunofluorescent staining with flow cytometricanalysis. For flow cytometric staining, the suggested use of this reagent is 5 µL per million cells in100 µL staining volume or 5 µL per 100 µL of whole blood. It is recommended that the reagent betitrated for optimal performance for each application.
* Alexa Fluor® 700 has a maximum emission of 719 nm when it is excited at 633 nm / 635 nm. Priorto using Alexa Fluor® 700 conjugate for flow cytometric analysis, please verify your flowcytometer's capability of exciting and detecting the fluorochrome.
