描述
乙型肝炎是由乙型肝炎病毒（HBV）引起的肝脏感染。乙型肝炎表面抗原（HBsAg）包含HBV的大（L）、中（M）和小（S）表面蛋白。在急性或慢性HBV感染期间，血清中可检测到高水平的HBsAg。作为对感染的正常免疫反应的一部分，身体通常会产生HBsAg抗体。HBsAg是用于制造HBV疫苗的抗原，也是一种诊断标志物。
Hepatitis B is a liver infection caused by the Hepatitis B virus (HBV). Hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) contains the large (L), middle (M), and small (S) surface proteins of HBV. HBsAg can be detected at high levels in serum during acute or chronic HBV infection. The body normally produces antibodies to HBsAg as part of the normal immune response to infection. HBsAg is the antigen used to make the HBV vaccine and is also a diagnostic marker.

Recommended Usage
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded immunohistochemical staining. For immunohistochemistry, a concentration range of 1.0 - 5.0 µg/mL is suggested. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.

Distribution
HBsAg is on the surface of HBV that is present in bodily fluids and hepatocytes of infected individuals.

HBsAg plays a key role in HBV's infection of hepatocytic cells.
