In Vitro: AcrB-IN-1 (Compound H6) is able to reduce the MIC value of tested antibacterial (Erythromycin HY-B0220, Levofloxacin HY-B0330, Minocycline HY-17412A) at sub-MIC concentrations (8-128 μg/mL) against the Escherichia coli strain BW25113.
AcrB-IN-1 (64 μg/mL) is shown to not disrupt the bacterial inner membrane.
AcrB-IN-1 completely abolishes the Nile Red (a known substrate of AcrB) efflux at a concentration of 50 μM.
