　　选择受精 selective fertilization 指在一个柱头上授与不同基因型的几种花粉时，其中某一种特别适于受精的现象．虽然花粉有不同的生活力和雌蕊接受有选择力，但是由于从受粉到受精过程的相互影响，所以这种分类不一定严密．当花粉管的生长速度有差别时，快的可迅速受精，慢的就不能受精．这种花粉管生长的竞争称为受精竞争（ certation），伴随此现象的杂交称为竞争杂交（德 Zertationskreuzung）。受精竞争现象可通过（ 1）混合授粉花粉量与可受精的胚珠数相比，可以看到极多或减少的现象；（ 2）进行花柱切断法；（ 3）不同的花粉各错开时间授与等方法来证实．一般选择受精在自然受粉（ natural pollination）状态下也有发生的，杂种的自体受粉时也有发生的可能，可使分离比紊乱。此外．在动物方面．性质不同的精子混合受精时．也见有选择受精
