    极性突变 polar mutation

    指一个基因上发生的突变可抑止距其操纵子内启动子较远一侧基因的表达。无意义突变多数都显示极性效应，但一般在其该突变顺反子内的位置，距启动子愈近，对操纵子后面的极性效应也愈强。
