基因组复杂度 genome complexity

真核生物的基因组，除了单一考贝式的特殊 DNA按顺序排列之外，通常是有多次重复的排列。基因组复杂度也称排列复杂度（ sequence complexity），不管重复的频度，将所有特异的碱基排列顺序都看作是以单一的考贝而存在，把碱基排列的总和用核苷数来表示。即以各频度等级的排列复杂度的总和表示。病毒或细菌的基因组无重复排列，其基因组的复杂度与 C值（即基因组的大小）相等，但有重复排列的基因组 C值较小。为表现在某分化细胞表达的基因的总体，有时称间接的 mRNA复杂度。这是指能够列举出的所有种类的 mRNA的核苷数之和。
