亦称锋电位或动作电位。胃平滑肌的锋电位，经常负载于慢波之上，可单个发生，亦可成簇发生。其大小范围可为数十微伏至数毫伏，在活动强烈时，不仅数量多，且振辐大，可出现在慢波的任何部位。快波可触发平滑肌收缩，其收缩振幅与动作电位频率有关。
