反向色素杯单眼inverted pigment-cup ocellus

涡虫类。例如涡虫属（Planaria）的头部具有一至数十对单眼。在体表表皮层下方有向斜上方开口的碗形色素细胞层（称色素杯pigm-ent cup），在此内腔中有一群视细胞的感觉棍伸入，接视细胞的神经纤维到达脑。通过表皮层进入的光线透过视细胞的细胞体，在被色素杯遮阻之前刺激感觉杆，兴奋与光线进入的方向相反，沿感觉杆、视细胞的细胞体、神经纤维、脑的方向传导，所以称为反向。脊椎动物在反向这一点上与此一致。
