指只有 1对等位基因不同的两个（同质的）亲本所形成的杂种，称为单性杂种或单因子杂种。杂种按等位基因间的显隐性关系，完全或不完全表现出显性性状或中间型。从理论上说，可以期待整个杂种群体应都具有相同的基因型。杂种第二代在完全显性的时候表现出 3∶ 1的分离比，在不完全显性的时候表现为 1∶ 2∶ 1的分离比。
