    脑源性神经营养因子(BDNF)是生长因子神经营养素家族中的一员，
    与神经生长因子相关。神经营养因子存在于脑及外周。BDNF在内质网
    中加工合成，由致密核心囊泡分泌。它在大脑中的海马、皮层和基底前
    脑区域活跃，同样也在视网膜、运动神经元、肾脏、唾液和前列腺中表
    达。BDNF作用于中枢神经系统和外周神经系统的某些神经元，帮助现
    存神经元的存活、促进新生神经元和突触的生长和分化。BDNF的改变
    可能在精神分裂症的发病中起作用，与抑郁、湿疹、癫痫、阿尔茨海默
    病、肥胖、衰老、先天性中枢性低通气综合征和化疗后认知功能障碍有
    关。
