乙酸钠（NaAc）又称醋酸钠。固体为无色透明结晶或白色颗粒。常温下为三水化合物，120度时失去结晶水，相对密度为：1.45（三水化合物）。分子量为136.08（三水化合物）；

配制方法：
3 M 乙酸钠（pH=5.2）的配制：在800ml水中溶解408.1g三水乙酸钠，节pH值至5.2，加水定容至1L，分装后高压。
用途：乙酸钠可用于测定铅、铜、镍和铁等，也是一种常用的缓冲剂。在核酸提取中，加入乙酸钠缓冲液，可调节盐离子的浓度，中和核酸分子的负电荷，便于加入乙醇后使DNA沉淀下来。
