外泌体（Exosome）是活细胞分泌的来源于晚期核内体(也称为多囊泡体 )的直径30-150nm的纳米级脂质包裹体结构，密度1.13-1.21g/ml，内部包裹了蛋白质、mRNA和microRNA等物质，天然存在于体液中，包括血液、唾液、尿液和母乳等。越来越多的证据表明，对外泌体的分析和检测可以辅助疾病的早期诊断、疗效评价和预后分析。
获得高纯度的大量外泌体样本是开展外泌体研究的基础，也是保障研究结果准确性的前提。经典的超速离心法（差速离心）、密度梯度离心法、免疫磁珠法、超滤法在外泌体制备过程中经常受到大型仪器设备的资源限制，并且存在操作复杂、耗时、外泌体量少、纯度低、价格高等缺陷。因此，试剂盒法逐渐成为外泌体提取方法中的主流技术，可帮助绝大多数科研人员获得高质量外泌体。
