    EHA105 Agrobacterium Strain Description

    The EHA105 strain by EHA101 strain and C58 type transformation, as the background, with screening label, rifampicin resistant gene RIF in nuclear genes, in order to facilitate the transformation of the operation, the strains carrying Ti plasmid pEHA105 amber base without its transport function (pTiBo542DT-DNA), the plasmid containing vir gene (VIR T-DNA gene was inserted into the plant genome the essential components of pEHA105 (pTiBo542DT-DNA) plasmid T-DNA transfer function itself is destroyed, but can be transferred to the binary vector T-DNA help smooth transfer). The strain of EHA105 can be grown on YEB or LB medium. The optimum temperature is 28centigrade oxygen consumption, and 30% glycerol can be used to preserve the bacteria. The method of plasmids conversion is chemical conversion and electrical transformation.
