    免疫球蛋白，也称为抗体，包含以五种主要形式存在的蛋白质家族，
    也称为类别或同种型- IgM，IgD，IgG，IgE 和 IgA。免疫球蛋白由脊椎
    动物产生，作为对微生物（例如细菌或病毒）感染的正常免疫应答的一
    部分。免疫球蛋白与微生物的结合可以具有立即效应，例如阻断侵袭，
    并且它可以动员免疫系统的其他组分来破坏或以其他方式灭活微生物，
    从而提供针对传染病的保护。微生物存在于免疫系统并引发免疫球蛋白
    （抗体）产生的分子结构统称为抗原。免疫球蛋白 M ( IgM )是脊椎动物
    产生的几种抗体之一。IgM 是最大的抗体，也是最初接触抗原时出现的
    第一种抗体。对于已经研究过的人类和其他哺乳动物来说，负责抗体产
    生的浆细胞所在的脾脏是特异性 IgM 产生的主要场所。
