Secreted frizzled-related protein 2 (SFRP2) belongs to the SFRP family which contains a cysteine-rich domain homologous to the putative Wnt-binding site of Frizzled proteins. SFRP2 function as soluble modulators of Wnt signaling. Methylation of SFRP2 is a possible marker for the existence of colorectal cancer.

SFRP2 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 297 amino acids (20-295 a.a) and having a molecular mass of 33.8kDa.
SFRP2 is fused to a 21 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

SFRP2 protein solution (1mg/ml) contains 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH8.0), 10% glycerol and 0.4M Urea.

Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time.
For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).
Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.

Greater than 85.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
