GIPC PDZ domain containing family member 2, SEMCAP-2, PDZ domain-containing protein GIPC2, semaphorin cytoplasmic domain associated protein 2, semaF cytoplasmic domain associated protein 2, SEMCAP2, FLJ20075.

GIPC2 is a 315 aa protein which is restricted to the cytoplasm and holds one PDZ domain. GIPC2 is expressed in large quantities in colon and kidney and in small quantities in adult liver. GIPC2 has a vital part in human gastric cancer by control of growth factor signaling or cell adhesion.

GIPC2 Human Recombinant produced in E.coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 339 amino acids (1-315) and having a molecular mass of 36.9kDa.
GIPC2 is fused to a 24 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Sterile Filtered colorless solution.

The GIPC2 solution (1mg/ml) contains 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0), 100mM NaCl, 1mM DTT and 30% glycerol.

Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time.
For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).
Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.

Greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
