Recombinant Human CXADR-Like M

CXADR like membrane protein, ACAM, ASAM, CSBM, CSBS, Adipocyte adhesion molecule, Coxsackie- and adenovirus receptor-like membrane protein, CAR-like membrane protein.

CXADR Like Membrane Protein or CLMP, part of the CTX family within the immunoglobulin superfamily, is a type 1 transmembrane peptide. CLMP is expressed in the placenta and small intensine, skeletal muscle, colon, lungs and heart. CLMP is located in junction complexes across endothelial and epithelial cells and can take part in cell adhesion. The protein has influence on development of obesity via adipocyte differentiation.

CLMP produced in Sf9 Baculovirus cells is a single, glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 226 amino acids (19-235a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 25.6kDa. (Molecular size on SDS-PAGE will appear at approximately 28-40kDa).
CLMP is expressed with a 9 amino acid His tag at C-Terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Sf9, Baculovirus cells.

Sterile Filtered clear solution.

CLMP protein solution (0.5mg/ml) contains phosphate buffered saline (pH7.4), 1mM DTT and 20%glycerol

Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time.
For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).
Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.

Greater than 95.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
