Recombinant Human Glycogen syn

Glycogen synthase kinase-3 beta, GSK-3 beta, Serine/threonine-protein kinase GSK3B.

GSK3B is a serine-threonine kinase that belongs to the glycogen synthase kinase subfamily. GSK3B is involved in energy metabolism, neuronal cell development, and body pattern formation. Polymorphisms in the GSK3B gene have been implicated in modifying risk of Parkinson disease, and studies in mice show that overexpression of the GSK3B gene may be significant to the pathogenesis of Alzheimer disease.

Sf9, Baculovirus cells.

Sterile Filtered colorless solution.

GSK3B protein solution (0.25mg/ml) contains Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH7.4), 0.5mM PMSF and 30% glycerol.

Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. 

Greater than 90.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
