    INTRODUCTION

    Polymerase III Polypeptide K, known as PORL3K, is a small vital subunit of RNA polymerase III. The carboxy-terminal domain of PORL3K owns a sequence which is very similar to the carboxy-terminal domain of an RNA polymerase II elongation factor. PORL3K takes part in sensing and limiting infection by intracellular bacteria and DNA viruses. PORL3K is also plays a role as nuclear and cytosolic DNA sensor which takes part in the innate immune response.

    DESCRIPTION

    POLR3K Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 131 amino acids (1-108 a.a) and having a molecular mass of 14.7kDa.
    POLR3K is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

    Escherichia Coli.

    PHYSICAL APPEARANCE

    Sterile Filtered colorless solution.

    FORMULATION

    POLR3K protein solution (0.25mg/ml) containing 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0), 0.15M NaCl, 50% glycerol, 2mM DTT and 2mM EDTA.

    STABILITY

    Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time.
    For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).
    Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.

    PURITY

    Greater than 85.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
