背景资料：Apolipoprotein M (apoM, also known as apolipoproteinM and apo M) is a lipocalin mainly produced by the liver. It binds sphingosine-1-phosphate (S1P), and HDL containing apoM is the major transporter of S1P. ApoM–S1P is involved in several signaling pathways implicated in the atheroprotective functions of HDL. ApoM has a role in lipoprotein metabolism, atherosclerosis, diabetes, and renal diseases. Normal concentration of apoM in human plasma is approximately 6-60 mg/L.
