PlasmocinTM-去除细胞培养中的支原体污染
在过去多年中，InvivoGen公司的PlasmocinTM产品已被成千上万的研究者证明为培养细胞的“救世主”。这款产品主要成份为两种强效针对支原体的细菌提取物，可在2周内有效消灭支原体污染。这两种成份可分别和特异性针对仅在支原体表面表达的两种靶分子，从而保证不存在任何细胞的毒副作用。
目前已知的支原体有100多种，但细胞培养中超过95%的支原体污染都是由其中6种造成的，它们分别是：M.arginini, M.fermentans, M.orale, M.hyorhinis, M.salivarum和A.laidlawii。研究表明PlasmocinTM产品可以有效地清除这全部6种支原体。
