    HiPrep 26/10 Desalting are convenient, easy-to-use, 53 mL columns prepacked with Sephadex G-25 Fine resin for desalting and buffer exchange.

    • Provides reliable and reproducible protein desalting and buffer exchanges of samples up to 15 mL.
    • Two to four columns can be connected in series for sample sizes from 30 to 60 mL.
    • Replaces dialysis for desalting protein, which saves time and reduces labor.
    • HiPrep format compatible with peristaltic pumps or chromatography systems such as ÄKTA systems.

    Column for desalting and buffer exchange of proteins

    HiPrep 26/10 Desalting is a prepacked, ready-to-use column for group separation between high and low molecular weight substances. Applications include buffer exchange prior to or after different chromatographic steps, removal of low molecular weight contaminants, or removal of reagents to terminate a reaction.

    The exclusion limit is approximately Mr 5000. This ensures group separation of proteins/peptides larger than Mr 5000 from smaller molecules.

    Successful use in published research

    HiPrep 26/10 Desalting columns are used in a variety of research applications, including desalting in the purification process of myofilament proteins using a cleavable His6-tag.
