关于EGFR/HER1：
EGFR is a transmembrane glycoprotein that is a member of the protein kinase superfamily. This protein is a receptor for members of the epidermal growth factor family. EGFR is a cell surface protein that binds to epidermal growth factor. Binding of the protein to a ligand induces receptor dimerization and tyrosine autophosphorylation and leads to cell proliferation. Activates at least 4 major downstream signaling cascades including the RAS-RAF-MEK-ERK, PI3 kinase-AKT, PLCgamma-PKC and STATs modules. May also activate the NF-kappa-B signaling cascade. Also directly phosphorylates other proteins like RGS16, activating its GTPase activity and probably coupling the EGF receptor signaling to the G protein-coupled receptor signaling.

关于SDCBP/Syntenin-1：
Syntenin-1 is a molecule linking syndecan-mediated signaling to the cytoskeleton. Syntenin-1 is primarily localized to membrane-associated adherens junctions and focal adhesions but also found at the endoplasmic reticulum and nucleus. The syntenin protein contains tandemly repeated PDZ domains that bind the cytoplasmic, C-terminal domains of a variety of transmembrane proteins. Syntenin-1 may affect cytoskeletal-membrane organization, cell adhesion, protein trafficking, and the activation of transcription factors. It seems to function as an adapter protein, in adherens junctions may function to couple syndecans to cytoskeletal proteins or signaling components. Syntenin-1 seems to couple transcription factor SOX4 to the IL-5 receptor (IL5RA) and play a role in vesicular trafficking.

关于Semaphorin 5A：
Semaphorin-5A (SEMA5A) is a member of the Semaphorin family of axon guidance molecules. SEMA5A is a 140 kDa protein. Class 5 Semaphorins are type I transmembrane glycoproteins with an N- terminal Sema domain and multiple juxtamembrane type 1 Thrombospondin (TSP) repeats within their extracellular domains. SEMA5A is expressed in neuroepithelial cells surrounding retinal axons, oligodendrocytes, the base of limb buds, the mesoderm surrounding cranial vessels , and the cardiac atrial septum and endo*(代"c")ardial cushions, Human SEMA5A cDNA encodes a signal sequence, a extracellular domain (ECD), a transmembrane sequence and an cytoplasmic portion. SEMA5A mutations have been implicated in the genetic syndrome,cri-du-chat,while some polymorphisms may increase risk for neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson. The expression of SEMA5A may be upregulated in metastatic cancer cells and downregulated in autism.
