DEPC水可以用于RNA沉淀的溶解，含有RNA的各种反应体系如反转录、siRNA的退火等，以及其它各种要求无RNase、DNase和proteinase的反应体系。
DEPC水不同于DEPC。DEPC水是使用DEPC处理过的水，基本上不含DEPC，99.99%以上是水。如需购买用于去除RNA酶的DEPC，可以选购联迈生物的DEPC(ST036)。
