关于ESAM：
Endothelial Cell Adhesion Molecule (ESAM) is a 55 kDa type I transmembrane glycoprotein member of the JAM family of immunoglobulin superfamily molecules. The 390 amino acid Human ESAM contains a 216 amino acid extracellular domain (ECD) with a V-type and a C2-type immunoglobulin (Ig) domain. ESAM is specifically expressed at endothelial tight junctions and on activated platelets and performs homophilic adhesion activity. The adaptor protein membrane-associated guanylate kinase MAGI-1 has been identified as an intracellular binding partner of ESAM. In addition, ESAM at endothelial tight junctions participates in the migration of neutrophils through the vessel wall, possibly by influencing endothelial cell contacts. ESAM-deficient mice were described with lowered angiogenic potential, and accordingly, overexpression of ESAM is closely associated with certain tumor growth and metastasis. ESAM is expressed on endothelial cells, activated platelets and megakaryocytes. The ECD of human and mouse ESAM share 69% amino acid identity.

关于FSTL1：
Follistatin-Related Protein 1 (FSTL1) is a secreted protein that contains two EF-hand domains, one follistatin-like domain, one Kazal-like domain, and one VWFC domain. Its functional significance in physiological and pathological processes is not completely understood. However, FSTL1 is thought to modulate the action of some growth factors on cell proliferation and differentiation. FSTL1 maybe an autoantigen associated with rheumatoid arthritis.

Amiloride-sensitive amine oxidase (AOC1) belongs to the copper/topaquinone oxidase family. The protein exists as homodimer by disulfide and mainly located in placenta and kidney. AOC1 catalyzes the degradation of compounds such as putrescine, histamine, spermine, and spermidine, substances involved in allergic and immune responses, cell proliferation, tissue differentiation, tumor formation, and possibly apoptosis. Placental DAO is thought to play a role in the regulation of the female reproductive function. The activity of this protein can be inhibited by amiloride in a competitive manner. It is inhibited by amiloride, a diuretic that acts by closing epithelial sodiu*(代"m") ion channels.
