T7 RNA Polymerase (T7 RNA 聚合酶 ) 是一个 DNA 依赖的RNA 聚合酶，对之同源的启动子序列表现出极强的特异性。只有 T7DNA 或从 T7 启动子下游克隆的 DNA，才能成为 T7 RNA 聚合酶的模板，进行 RNA 合成。

• 特异性： T7 RNA 聚合酶对 T7 启动子序列表现出极高的亲和性及特异性。
• 高纯度： 通过 SDS- 聚丙酰胺凝胶电泳检测， T7 RNA 聚合酶的纯度 >90%。没有可检测到的 RNase 及 DNase 活性 (<1%)。
• 灵活性： 可以掺入 32P、 33P、 3H 及 35S 标记的三磷酸核苷。
