分装可以最大限度地减少因反复冻融导致的损失，因为反复冻融会使抗体变性，导致抗体形成聚合物，从而降低抗体的结合能力。分装还可以最大限度地减少因多次从一个小瓶中移液引发的污染。
分装抗体应冻融一次，如有剩余，在 4°C 下保存。通常建议在 -20°C 下保存抗体，因为在 -80°C 下保存抗体的优势并不明显。
分装量的多少取决于您每次实验的常规用量。分装量不得少于 10 μL。分装量越少，储备液浓度就越容易受到蒸发以及抗体吸附在存放瓶表面的影响。
大多数情况下，收到抗体后，可在 4°C 下保存一至两周。
