Dulbecco 的改良 Eagle 培养基—DMEM（Dulbecco's Modified Eagle Medium）是一种广泛使用的基础培养基，适用于多种哺乳动物细胞培养，包括原代成纤维细胞，神经元，神经胶质 细胞，HUVEC 和平滑肌细胞，以及 HeLa ， 293 ，Cos-7 和 PC-12 等细胞系。
DMEM 是在 MEM 培养基的基础上研制的，与 MEM 培养基相比，氨基酸的含量增加了 2 倍，维生素增加了 4 倍，同时还增加了非必须氨基酸、微量铁离子以及bingtong酸钠。
DMEM 培养基最初设计为葡萄糖含量 1000mg/L 的低糖型，后来又发展出葡萄糖含量为 4500mg/L 的高糖型，现已广泛应用于各种细胞的培养。DMEM 低糖培养基更适合代谢作 用较慢、依赖性贴壁细胞的培养。
L-谷氨酰胺是细胞培养液体环境中所必需的一种营养成分，但其在水溶液中不稳定， 易降解。bingtong酸钠可以作为细胞培养中的替代碳源，在葡萄糖不足的情况下，细胞也可以 代谢bingtong酸钠。
本产品含有：D-葡萄糖(1000mg/L)、酚红、L-谷氨酰胺、bingtong酸钠。
不含有：HEPES、双抗。
