Bcl-2-like protein 2 (BCL2L2) belongs to the Bcl-2 family. BCL2L2 is highly expressed in thebrain, spinal cord, testis, pancreas, heart, spleen, and mammary glands. BCL2L2 is a peripheral membrane protein containing three motifs, BH1, BH2 and BH4. The BH4 motif appears to be involved in the anti-apoptotic function. The BH1 and BH2 motifs form a hydrophobic groove which acts as a do*(代"c")king site for the BH3 domain of some pro-apoptotic proteins. BCL2L2 promotes cell survival and blocks dexamethasone-induced apoptosis. Furthermore, BCL2L2 mediates survival of postmitotic Sertoli cells by suppressing death-promoting activity of BAX.

关于Prolactin R：
The prolactin receptor (PRLR) is a member of the class I cytokine/lactogen receptor family which mediates the diverse cellular actions of prolactin in several tissues. PRLRs are expressed in normal and neoplastic human breast tissue, and in most breast cancer cells. PRLR contains an extracellular region that binds prolactin, a transmembrane region, and a cytoplasmatic region required for the activation of the Jak2–Stat5 signal transduction pathway by Prl which is essential for transcriptional activation of all known prolactin regulated genes. PRLRs have also been observed in ovarian follicular cells of mice, pigs, sheep, deer, and humans, as well as in luteal tissue in cow and horse ovaries. Furthermore, PRLR knockout mice exhibit failure of embryonic implantation, reduced number of mature oocytes, and low fertilization rates. Knockout females also display a reduced number of primary follicles.

关于β-Defensin4A：
β-Defensin 4A is a membrane-active cationic peptide that functions in inflammation and innate immune responses. There are at least 30 β-Defensins, which are distinguished from α-Defensins by the connectivity pattern of their three intermolecular disulfide bonds. Members of the Defensin family are highly similar in protein sequence. This gene encodes Defensin, DEFB4;, which has broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity and may play an important role in innate epithelial defense. They are highly expressed in skin and tonsils, and to a lesser extent in trachea, uterus, kidney, thymus, adenoid, pharynx and tongue. β-Defensin 4A has low expression in salivary gland, bone marrow, colon, stomach, polyp and larynx. No expression in small intestine. The 45 amino acid mature human BD3 shares 38% and 33% amino acid sequence identity with mouse and rat BD3, respectively.
