关于SOD1：
Superoxide Dismutase [Cu-Zn] (SOD1) is a soluble cytoplasmic and mitochondrial intermembrane space protein that belongs to the Cu-Zn superoxide dismutase family. SOD1 binds copper and zinc ions and is one of three isozymes responsible for destroying free superoxide radicals in the body. SOD1 neutralizes supercharged oxygen molecules, which can damage cells if their levels are not controlled. The enzyme protects the cell against dangerous levels of superoxide. Zinc binding promotes dimerization and stabilizes the native form. Mutations in SOD1 cause a form of familial amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. Defects in SOD1 are the cause of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis type 1 (ALS1) which is a familial form of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, a neurodegenerative disorder affecting upper and lower motor neurons and resulting in fatal paralysis.

Ephrin Type-B Receptor 1 (EPHB1) is a single-pass type I membrane protein that belongs to the Ephrin-B family of receptor tyrosine kinases that is involved in embryonic nervous and vascular system development. EPHB1/EPHT2 contains two fibronectin type-III domains, one protein kinase domain and one SAM (sterile α motif) domain. EPHB1 could stimulate fibroblast motility on extracellular matrix in a kinase-dependent manner, which also correlated with its association with Grb7, an adaptor molecule implicated in the regulation of cell migration. It binds to ephrin-B1, ephrin-B2 and ephrin-B3. EPHB1 plays an important roles in diverse biological processes including nervous system development, angiogenesis, and neural synapsis formation and maturation and may be involved in cell-cell interactions in the nervous system.

关于Complement C5：
Mouse Complement C5 (C5a) is a glycoprotein that belongs to a family of structurally and functionally related proteins known as anaphylatoxins. C5a is a 77 amino acid peptide that is created by the C5a convertase proteolytic cleavage of C5 αchain in the classical and alternative complement pathway (C4b2a3b, C3bBb3b). Mouse C5a has fourαhelices, plus three intra-chain disulfide bonds that form a triple loop structure. C5a functions via G-protein coupled receptor (GPCR) (C5aR/CD88). C5a is a potent chemoattractant and anaphylatoxin that acts on all classes of leukocytes and on many other cell types including endothelial, smooth muscle, kidney, liver, and neural cells. It mediates IL-8 release from bronchial epithelial cells. It also triggers an oxidative burst in macrophages and neutrophils, causing release of histamine in basophils and mast cells. C5a anaphylatoxin activity on hepatocytes results indirectly from interaction with nonparenchymal cell via prostanoid secretion. Mouse C5a shares 60% and 82% sequence identity to human and rat C5a, respectively.
