转氨酶的一种，活性高。亦称谷氨酸 -草酰乙酸转氨酶（ GOT）是可逆地催化下列氨基转移反应的酶。 天冬氨酸 α -酮戊二酸草酰乙酸 谷氨酸 EC 2． 6． 1． 1。广泛分布于生物界。以磷酸吡哆醛为辅酶，不作用谷氨酰胺、α -吡咯烷酮羧酸。可为 SH试剂、对 -苯骈醌、对 -苯二胺等所抑制。在生物体内，除在氨基酸的氨基供给上起中心作用外，也与糖的转化有关。在细胞质的可溶性部分和线粒体里存在着同功酶，临床上把检查其血清中的浓度用于诊断。
