Apo B binds to specific receptors on cell membranes and is involved in removal of LDL and very low density lipoprotein (VLDL) cholesterol from circulation. This antibody is specific for apo B from human serum or plasma. No crossreactivity is seen with human apolipoprotein A-1. |
