Ubiquitin-Conjugating Enzyme E2 Variant 2 (UBE2V2) is an enzyme that belongs to the ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme family. UBE2V2 can be detected in the placenta, colon, liver, and skin.It forms a heterodimer with UBE2N. The UBE2V2/UBE2N heterodimer catalyzes the synthesis of non-canonical poly-ubiquitin chains and which leads to protein degradation by the proteasome. UBE2V2 mediates transcriptional activation of target genes. It plays a role in the control of progress through the cell cycle and differentiation. It also plays a role in the error-free DNA repair pathway and contributes to the survival of cells after DNA damage.

Low affinity immunoglobulin gamma Fc region receptor II (CD32B) is asingle-pass type I membrane protein and contains 2 Ig-like C2-type (immunoglobulin-like) domains. The inhibitory CD32B is expressed on B cells and myeloid dendritic cells. Ligation of CD32B on B cells downregulates antibody production and may, in some circumstances, promote apoptosis. Co-ligation of CD32B on dendritic cells inhibits maturation and blocks cell activation. CD32B may also be a target formonoclonal antibody therapy for malignancies.

Actin-Related Protein 8 (ACTR8) is a member of the Actin family. ACTR8 is the first example in actin family that was found to be associated with mitotic chromosomes. ACTR8 plays a vital role in the functional organization of mitotic chromosomes. This protein is a proposed core component of the chromatin remodeling INO80 complex that is involved in transcriptional regulation, DNA replication and probable DNA repair, and it is required for the recruitment of INO80 (and probably the INO80 complex) to sites of DNA damage.
