本产品英文名5 - A m i n o - 2 ，3-dihydro-1，4-phthalazinedione；又名发光氨。化学式：C8H7N3O2。鲁米诺反应又叫氨基苯二酰一胼反应，生物系统中的一些酶如辣根过氧化物酶HRP，以及一些金属化合物如血液中的铁，可以催化经过过氧化氢的分解，使过氧化氢变成水和单氧，其中单氧可氧化鲁米诺，鲁米诺经氧化后可发出蓝光。这种蓝光可经X光胶片曝光显影、荧光CCD扫描成像，或直接在弱光下肉眼观察。
