该产品是一种采用最新封闭技术,经修饰的Taq DNA Polymerase。在70℃以下,酶的活性中心被完全封闭,有效抑制了聚合酶活性,同时抑制了PCR操作过程中由引物和模板非特异性结合或引物二聚体而产生的非特异性扩增。在95℃条件下孵育15分钟后,酶的部分活性得以释放。随着热循环的不断进行,剩余的酶活会源源不断地释放出来。这就使得此酶克服了常规Taq酶容易出现平台期的弊端,其扩增效率大大提高。扩增得到的PCR产物3’末端含有A,PCR产物可以直接进行T/A克隆。主要应用于有高特异性要求的PCR、RT-PCR、Real-time PCR。
