EE is an autosomal recessive disorder characterized by neurodevelopmental delay and regression, recurrent petechiae, acrocyanosis, diarrhea, leading to death in the first decade of life. It is also associated with persistent lactic acidemia and ethylmalonic and methylsuccinic aciduria. |
