    ChIP analysis of HeLa cells using GTX60825 Histone H3R17me2K18ac (Asymmetric Di-methyl Arg17/Acetyl Lys18) antibody - ChIP grade. The IP'd DNA was subsequently analysed on an Illumina Genome Analyzer. Library preparation, cluster generation and sequencing were performed according to the manufacturer's instructions. The 36 bp tags were aligned to the human genome using the ELAND algorithm. Figure 2 shows the peak distribution along the complete human X-chromosome and a zoomin to a 500 kb region (figure 2A and B), and in two regions on chromosome 14 and 3 surrounding the c-fos and EIF4A2 positive control genes (figure 2C and D, respectively).

    ChIP analysis of sheared chromatin from 10⁶ HeLa cells using GTX60825 Histone H3R17me2K18ac (Asymmetric Di-methyl Arg17/Acetyl Lys18) antibody - ChIP grade. A titration consisting of 1, 2, 5 and 10 μg of antibody per ChIP experiment was analyzed. IgG (2 μg/IP) was used as a negative IP control. Quantitative PCR was performed with primers for the promoters of the active EIF4A2 and c-fos genes, used as positive controls and for the inactive MYOD1 gene and the Sat2 satellite repeat, used as negative controls. This figure shows the recovery, expressed as a % of input (the relative amount of immunoprecipitated DNA compared to input DNA after qPCR analysis).
