This product is sold for laboratory research use only, not for human or in-vivo use.Form Affinity Purified Antibody (in 10 mM Hepes, pH 7.5, 150 mM NaCl, 100 ug/ml BSA, and 50% glycerol) Host Tyrosine Hydroxylase Polyclonal AntibodyRabbit Species Reactivity All mammalian and some non-mammalian forms [Ab] 1 mg/mL Specificity Tyrosine Hydroxylase (TH) is the rate-limiting enzyme in the synthesis of the catecholamines Dopamine and Norepinephrine. TH antibodies can therefore be used as markers for dopaminergic and noradrenergic neurons. We have raised polyclonal and monoclonal antibodies against TH purified from rat pheochromocytoma. These antibodies are suitable for most immunochemical applications in a wide variety of mammalian and some non-mammalian forms of the enzyme. Uses These antibodies are effective in immunoblotting, immunocytochemistry, IHC, IF, IP and ELISA. Suggested Working Dilution Tyrosine Hydroxylase Polyclonal AntibodyThe optimal working dilution should be determined for each specific assay condition. - Western blot: 1:1,000*
