Description 
Polyclonal Antibody against Synapsin I Form Affinity Purified Antibody (Lyophilized in 5 mM Ammonium Bicarbonate) Host Rabbit Species Reactivity Mammalian Specificity Synapsin I Polyclonal Antibody, PurifiedSynapsins are neuron-specific phosphoproteins that localize to the cytoplasmic face of small synaptic vesicles, with little or no expression in other tissues. Synapsin I is a specific marker of synapses throughout the nervous system. In addition to synaptic nerve terminals, Synapsin I is also present in several sensory nerve endings. Synapsin I interacts with vesicle membranes as well as with actin and spectrin. The synapsins are phosphoproteins that are substrates for several protein kinases such as PKA, CaMK I and CaMK II. Uses These antibodies are effective in immunoblotting, immunocytochemistry, immunoprecipitation, and ELISA. Suggested Working Dilution The antibody should be reconstituted in 50 uL of PBS.
