Monoclonal Antibody against Human α-Synuclein

This product is sold for laboratory research use only, not for human or in-vivo use.Clone LB509 Form Purified Antibody (in PBS; no preservatives or carrier proteins) Host α-Synuclein (LB509) Monoclonal Antibody (SIGNET)Mouse Species Reactivity Human IsoType IgG1 [Ab] 1 mg/mL Specificity α-synuclein is a 140 amino acid protein that is implicated in Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, Lewy body dementia, and multiple system atrophy. Signet’s LB 509 reacts with human but does not react with rodent α-synuclein. LB 509 recognizes amino acids 115-122 of human α-synuclein. Uses This antibody is effective in immunoblotting, immunohistochemistry (IHC) and ELISA. Suggested Working Dilution α-Synuclein (LB509) Monoclonal Antibody (SIGNET)The optimal working dilution should be determined for each specific assay condition. - Western/Dot blot: 1:100-1:10,000

Tissue Sections: Frozen and formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissues
Pretreatment: Not required
Storage Store at -20°C or below. Upon initial thawing, apportion into working aliquots and store at -20°C or below. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles to prevent denaturing the antibody.
