Neuron Specific Enolase (NSE) Polyclonal Antibody, Purified (SIGNET)Human Specificity 
The Signet anti-NSE polyclonal antibody stains neurons, islets of Langerhans cells and peripheral nerves of the skin. Several carcinomas, pheochromocytomas, neuroblastomas (Hughs I & II), and rhabdomyosarcomas also show positive staining for NSE.
This antibody was developed against NSE (γ - γ isoenzyme) isolated from bovine brain.

This antibody is effective in immunohistochemistry (IHC). Suggested Working Dilution 
The optimal working dilution should be determined for each specific assay condition. - IHC: ≥1:20 (concentrated format) with Biotin based detection systems such as Signets USA Ultrastreptavidin Detection (SIG-32250).
Tissue Sections: Formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissues
Pretreatment: For optimal staining, the sections should be pretreated with an antigen unmasking solution such as Retrieve-All 1 (SIG-31910).
Incubation: 20-60 minutes at room temperature
Notes 
Positive tissue (human): Pancreas - IHC: ≥1:20 (concentrated format) with Biotin based detection systems such as Signets USA Ultrastreptavidin Detection (SIG-32250).
