Monoclonal Antibody to Gonadotropin-Releasing Hormone (LHRH) Intended Use **Research Use Only (RUO)**
This product is sold for laboratory research use only, not for human or in-vivo use.Clone SMI-41 Form Ascites (contains 0.01M sodium azide) Host Mouse Species Reactivity Gonadotropin-Releasing Hormone (LHRH) (SMI 41) Monoclonal Antibody Human IsoType IgG1 Specificity Anti GnRH, clone SMI41, reacts with LHRH at an affinity of 10 (-11)/M and is specific for its C-terminal pentapeptide. Uses This product is effective in immunocytochemistry (ICC) and radioimmunoassay (RIA). Because of the high concentration and affinity of this antibody, uncommonly high dilutions are necessary in RIA to obtain partial binding. Suggested Working Dilution The optimal working dilution should be determined for each specific assay condition. - ICC: 1:20,000
Notes Gonadotropin-Releasing Hormone (LHRH) (SMI 41) Monoclonal Antibody Tissue Preparation: SMI 41 reacts on paraffin, vibratome and frozen tissue sections. Tissues can be fixed in a variety of paraformaldehyde or formaldehyde-containing fixatives. A more extensive fiber network as well as perikaryonal staining is obtained when vibratome or frozen sections are used in immunocytochemistry rather than paraffin sections. Storage Store at -20°C. Upon initial thawing, apportion into working aliquots and store at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles to prevent denaturing the antibody. For long-term storage, keep the antibody at -80°C.
